Hygienist Care
Seeing a hygienist is a private treatment and it is generally recommended for long-term oral health that wherever possible a patient sees a hygienist on a regular basis.
At PDS we have our own hygienist and you are able to make an appointment either directly or when you see your dentist.
When you visit, the hygienist will usually give your teeth a thorough clean. You will also be shown how to remove plaque successfully yourself and how to clean all the surfaces of your teeth thoroughly and effectively. This may take a number of sessions.
